Modern Rooftop Affair
The rooftop at the Taj boasts impressive views and a cool, industrial aesthetic. Our aim was to embrace this space, but also to soften it, further enhancing the room’s sense of openness and light. Upon exiting the elevators, guests were greeted by a stunning statement piece—hybrid delphinium filled the space and made the first impression of the evening. In lieu of traditional centerpieces, small glass elements were delicately suspended en masse, and filled with specimen blooms like calla lilies, roses, and dendrobium orchids. The rest of the tablescaping was kept low, with peonies serving as the focal flower. This treatment, decidedly modern, complemented the room’s overall look and feel.
